Making the most of the summer months in England, this painting of fields soon dried with the breeze. Some folks use a slow drying medium (a liquid chemical) to the water while painting in a dry atmosphere because the pigments in watercolour paints have a longer chance to react and mix with each other by drying slowly. I prefer the challenge of painting faster on sunny days, the unpredictability is what keeps me interested in watercolours. by Artist Sophie Huddlestone. Don’t forget to view my artist’s website on the paintings page, thanks, Sophie.
