Brad Pitt Portrait painting in progress by Artist Sophie

As a mum first and an artist second it’s a rare treat for me to have 4 hours painting time in one go. I must admit it’s been quite an enjoyable subject to paint, more enjoyable than studying a banana in a bowl of fruit. This is my second ever portrait as I’ve always avoided painting a person until I discovered the grid method. Still lots to learn, back to painting fluffy animals tomorrow. My friend James Pauburgh was a bodyguard for this guy a few years ago, lucky man! Brad Pitt Watercolour by Artist Sophie Huddlestone. The first picky is 4 hours of painting, second picky is after 6 hours painting time and in total it took 10 hours. This ones not for sale as it’s on the wall at Vision House, Leicestershire. Don’t forget to view my artist’s website on the paintings page.

When you view the paintings 4 sale on my website, please view the MEGA SALE section because this painting may have a temporary sale price.

  2. Both look great but it’s amazing how just two hours extra painting time has improved Brad Pitt. Great work Soph.
